Beautiful terrace for relaxing evenings.
The large shower needs a grab handle. At 83 years old, I feel it's essential to have something to hold on to to avoid slipping. there was no table to place my coffee while sitting on the overly glamorous but impractical sofa. Unpacking on the floor was a nuisance as I couldn't find a place for my suitcase.

Perfect stay for couples
The room was excellent, away from the main pub, so peaceful and set in a fine location! Clean, spacious with a lovely terrace. The food was just lovely, both dinner and breakfast. The chef clearly knows what they’re doing. I had gluten-free options without any fuss, which is rare and appreciated!
Sure, it wasn't cheap, but honestly, worth every penny.

Exceptional stay with superb food!
I recently enjoyed a rejuvenating stay in a Double Room with Terrace that was not only spacious but also beautifully styled. The food was a standout with every dish outstanding, particularly breakfast where I appreciated the gluten-free options. The staff were attentive and created a welcoming atmosphere. One minor drawback was the noise from the pub during peak hours, which slightly affected the tranquility.

Cozy country retreat!
We just spent 2 nights here and it was lovely! The room was way bigger than I expected – super sleek and comfy. The walk-in shower was fab, and the bed was huge! The menu had some unique choices, and breakfast was top-notch. One thing tho, it can get super busy, so snag a spot outside if ya can.

Very busy pub atmosphere might not suit everyone!!! Limited indoor seating feels cramped at times!!! Quirky menu offers some unusual choices that may not appeal to all diners!!!

Absolutely loved the peaceful setting and the super-king bed was one of the best we've ever slept in! The large walk-in shower was a fantastic bonus.
-
missingWrote a review on 12 Junpeaceful terraceglamorous roompracticality issues
The terrace offers a peaceful escape, perfect for sipping coffee while soaking in the countryside views. The room brims with glam, featuring a large walk-in shower that adds a touch of luxury to the stay.
The large shower lacks a grab handle, which can make it risky for seniors, especially with slippery surfaces. A table next to the sofa for drinks or a place for a suitcase would enhance practicality, as unpacking on the floor isn't ideal. While the overall aesthetics impress, the room's design prioritizes looks over functionality.

Hadn’t been for twenty years, and it still wowed me! I loved relaxing in the garden area with its comfy seating and gorgeous flowers. The room was a bit warm at night, but overall, it was such a peaceful stay! 🌼
